The system is based around building a website where you capture leads to build an email list and make sales. You’ll be driving traffic to your site using several high authority platforms such as YouTube and Facebook.
So yes, to make this work you will need to buy a domain name, hosting and sign up for an auto-responder service. This is non-negotiable but it won’t break the bank either.
Just to give you a rough idea of the costs involved, you can buy a domain name for around $10/year while decent hosting can be found for as little as $3/month. An auto-responder like Aweber will offer you a free forever plan up to 500 subscribers.
